PACE Business Development Center + Supervisor Hilda Solis
HUD CDBG-funded program for small businesses in unincorporated areas of Supervisor Hilda Solis’s 1st District. Covers payroll, rent, working capital, and inventory. Eligible businesses are contacted by PACE after an initial inquiry.
City of Inglewood + PCR Business Finance

City of Santa Monica (CDBG-funded / HUD)
Matching grants for exterior storefront improvements in low-to-moderate income areas of Santa Monica. Eligible uses: landscaping, signage, lighting, ADA upgrades, anti-graffiti coating, fireproofing, and security enhancements.
City of Long Beach Economic Development
Direct financial relief for Long Beach small businesses and nonprofits impacted by crime or vandalism. Covers storefront repairs and improvements resulting from criminal damage.
LISC LA + BMO
Rapid, unrestricted $5,000 micro-grants for small businesses directly impacted by the January 2025 LA wildfires. Funds restore operations, stabilize cash flow, and strengthen business capacity. Recipients gain peer cohort access and connections to capital. Contact: [email protected].
Genesis For Good Foundation + Genesis Bank + Fiserv
Competitive grants up to $10,000 for very small businesses in low-to-moderate income communities across LA, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties. Recipients also receive Catalyst 360 membership and a Genesis + Clover point-of-sale bundle. Requires a brief 3-minute video application.
Visionaries (privately funded)
One founder receives $10,000 in unrestricted cash to use however best supports their business. LA County women and nonbinary entrepreneurs are fully eligible. Three short narrative questions; $15 non-refundable application fee. After this round closes August 30, grants move to a monthly cadence.
Hello Alice (multiple corporate sponsors)
Hello Alice is distributing over $1M in Digital Ready grants including $10,000 grants for businesses completing digital readiness courses. Apply once, be considered all year. Platform also surfaces additional matched opportunities based on your business profile.
California Restaurant Foundation — funded by PG&E Foundation & SoCalGas
The 2026 application window closed June 30. A seventh annual cycle is expected. LA County restaurants served by SoCalGas should sign up to be notified when the next round opens. Past cycles opened June 1.
